Concrete pumping in Ranelagh, Dublin 6

Concrete supplied and line‑pumped on a narrow terraced street, with cars parked on both sides.

About this project

GS Concrete Pumping supplied and pumped concrete for a residential project in Sandycove, Co. Dublin, just off the seafront between Dún Laoghaire and Dalkey.

The only access to the site was a narrow rear laneway shared with neighbouring homes. We brought in our ready mix truck and truck‑mounted line pump, set up in the lane, and pumped the concrete straight through to the pour, with no barrowing and no heavy machinery on the client’s property.
Supplying the concrete and pumping it ourselves meant one team managed the whole delivery, from the mix arriving on site to the last of it being placed.

Why a line pump?

A boom pump needs space to set up its outriggers and clear airspace to swing. In a laneway with walls, overhead lines and houses either side, that isn’t an option.
A line pump works from a compact footprint and runs a flexible hose along the ground, over walls and through gates, so concrete can be placed in back gardens, extensions and other spots a mixer can’t reach.
